Notre mission
Nous sommes le club Diversité en Maths de l'Université McGill et nous visons à inspirer des personnes de tous horizons à explorer et développer leur passion pour les mathématiques.
Nous nous efforçons de créer une communauté inclusive qui favorise un environnement d'apprentissage ouvert en mathématiques pour les minorités et les alliés sous-représentés. Notre mission est de fournir des opportunités de mentorat et de réseautage pour encourager les étudiants issus de milieux sous-représentés à poursuivre des carrières liées aux mathématiques, ainsi que de sensibiliser à la nécessité d'une plus grande diversité en mathématiques.

The original picture is of the Trinity Mathematical Society, founded by students at Cambridge in 1919 to “promote the discussion of subjects of mathematical interest”. The society still exists and one can learn more about it on their website. The inspiration came from this AMS feature column about pseudonyms in math.
